BLM seeks input on wild horse management in the Blue Wing Complex

The preliminary environmental assessment analyzes the direct, indirect, and cumulative effects from implementing the proposed herd area management plan, including gathers, fertility control, and water source development.

Proposed implementation efforts will include a range of alternatives for long-term management of wild horses and burros while maintaining the population within the appropriate management level over multiple years.
