The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) requires buyers to sign contracts promising adopted/sold Mustangs will never end up in kill pens. The contract even says violators can be prosecuted.
Yet Mustangs are showing up in kill pens within weeks of adoption — and not one prosecution has been made public.

Now that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has lost its tool to funnel wild horses and burros into the slaughter pipeline through the Adoption Incentive Program, the agency has simply switched tactics.
Our wild horses and burros are not excess stock to be dumped into the slaughter pipeline. They are living symbols of our nation’s history and freedom.
Thats why I created this letter campaign. My goal was 1000 signatures almost there but not quite yet.
