Thank you for taking the time to step into their world.

This gallery is more than just a collection of photos—it’s a window into my journey with wild horses. I’ve spent countless hours in the dust, the wind, and the silence of the open range, observing these incredible animals live as they were meant to—wild and free. I can tell you there is no place I would rather be than on the range. It’s my solace, my therapy.

Each image tells a story: a lead stallion standing guard over his family, the powerful energy of a band in full gallop, raising clouds of desert dust, and the quiet moments, too—those where they simply exist, unaware of the battles being waged over their future.

I’ve witnessed the beauty of their freedom, but I’ve also seen the heartbreak of roundups—the fear in their eyes, the dust clouds rising as helicopters push them toward an uncertain fate. These moments fuel my work, my advocacy, and my determination to share their stories.

My hope is that through these photographs, you will see them as I do—not just as symbols of the West, but as living, feeling beings who deserve to remain wild.
